As revealed at Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel at New York Comic Con, the 2023 Hellfire Gala will kick off the Fall of X, the big X-Men status quo shift closing out Marvel’s 2023 event and crossover slate, an announcement leaving the X-Men’s Krakoan status quo in question. The Hellfire Gala itself has been the setting of several of the X-Men’s most important recent events, from the reveal of new X-Men teams, to the terraforming of Mars into the new Arakko, to the death of the Scarlet Witch, and this isn’t changing anytime soon.
