Not only have they quietly been together for some time in the current continuity, it turns out they’ve been embracing that romance in private in some surprising ways. They are delightful showcasing a bright, optimistic Kara and a serious Babs who occasionally let’s her fun side peek out. But for those who can afford it, University of San Francisco is definitely an incredible choice, giving you the opportunity to be immersed in The Golden City. And then giving them to Superman? Rids Superman of all the Doomsday virus particles. But once again, the whole ‘Doomsday infection’ is so convoluted that it is hard to wrap my head around. Superman, energized by his powers, Doomsday strength, and billions of sentients mental energy, grabs Brainiac and flies him to a black hole. At the very least Superman shoves Brainiac through it.
The only solution is for Lois to drain Brainiac of all his power and then shove it into Superman. Is this what we want Superman to be? They should want peace, not punishment. Lois power levels, the cure at the end. Somehow all of this strips Lois of her Brainiac power. Supergirl costume designs has been an ongoing theme in these strips (as well as how easily Supergirl would defeat Bat-villains) so this strip nuzzles in nicely with what Maihack has done before. Well Maihack has done it again, making a Kara/Babs comic about the recent Batgirl costume redesign. I have applauded the Supergirl/Batgirl comics by Mike Maihack in the past. Since she first appeared in Batman: The Animated Series back in the ‘90s, Harley Quinn has become not only one of the most beloved characters in the Batman franchise, but in the whole of DC Comics. She appeared in the ‘Comic Book of American’ that was published in 1993 by DC Comics. Brainiac is the most powerful psionic in this universe (personally I just miss him being super-intelligent). Brainiac ends up continuing his assault on Earth, is killing the population by draining them, and still wants to recreate the universe.
